Contact Lenses

Soft contact lenses (both hydrogel and silicone hydrogel lenses) are available in a variety of designs, depending on their intended purpose:
Spherical contact lenses
Spherical contact lenses are used in the cases when a person has a problem of not able to see clearly of nearby or of distance.
Toric soft contact lenses
Toric soft contact lenses have different powers in different meridians of the lens to correct astigmatism as well as nearsightedness or farsightedness.
Multifocal contact lenses
Multifocal contact lenses are the lenses with different prescriptions in a single lens. These lenses are helpful in solving the problem of both myopia and hyperopia.
Cosmetic contact lenses
Cosmetic contact lenses are not used for the improvement in the visibility. It is used just for the change or enhancement of the eye colour.
